Sacha Jafri to Exhibit Alongside Collection of Previously Unseen Warhols in Joint Global Tour. Launching at The Grand Hyatt, Dubai

Having raised over 1million pounds for charity, Britain’s most talented and exciting painter, Sacha Jafri will be exhibiting his latest collection of work alongside previously unseen paintings by Andy Warhol. The exhibition entitled ‘Jafri Meets Warhol’ launches in Dubai’s The Grand-Hyatt hotel in April then moves to Singapore’s principal museum ‘The Arts House’ from the 4th-18th May which will be hosted by the ambassador, to London in November 2005 and finally to New York in May 2006.

The Private View of the official Launch of the ‘Jafri Meets Warhol’ Global Tour will be held on Saturday 16th April at The Grand Hyatt, Dubai’s, MIX club and continue in the Al Nakheel Lounge until 23rd April. This unique and unprecedented exhibition sees the return of leading British painter Sacha Jafri to Dubai, with his new and much anticipated exciting latest collection. Dubai will be the very first country where the identity of Andy Warhol’s ‘The Unknown Woman’ will be revealed by ‘Jafri Meets Warhol’ curator, Olivia Hill. Speculation has been abundant for the last 21 years but now, thanks to scientific ‘face-mapping’ the identity of ‘The Unknown Woman’ can now be authenticated and officially revealed. As a result of this truly exciting find, this piece has more than tripled in value.
