James Bond Charity Event –
April 05 Sacha was invited by James Bond Producer Barbara Broccoli to paint live at the Savoy London around the handprints and signatures of the Bond Girls and leading sporting icons including World Cup winning rugby captain Martin Johnson. Painting with Live links to his audience, Sacha had only 4 hours to complete the master piece which was then bought on stage and auctioned by the Sotheby’s Auctioneer for 25,000 pounds with the proceeds going to Spinal Research. As a prelude to the auction was a catwalk show featuring the Bond
girls (from the 1960s to the present day) inclucing Mariam d’Arbo,
Maria Grazia Cucinotta and Michelle Yeoh and leading sporting icons
including Richard Dunwoody, David Ginola and World Cup winning rugby
captain Martin Johnson. Sacha Jafri teamed up with Armani who created
a bespoke suit jacket using one of Sacha’s images for the
lining which was again auctioned for Spinal Research
