Monaco Grand Prix Sacha was commissioned by Prince Albert of Monaco, F1 and Sonia Irvine's Amber Lounge to create a painting to celebrate the extraordinary debut season of the unprecedented and record-breaking F1 world champion - Lewis Hamilton. The painting depicts the race track, the unique and iconic Monaco mountain range, pink sky-line, harbour, the famous tunnel and main corner, the pit-stop, tree-lines, the uniquely intimate Grand-Stands - so close to this road town race track, the colours, sounds, smells, celebrations, feelings of apprehension, and atmosphere unique to race day in Monaco, as well as the instantly recognisable high-rise apartments that surround the most famous race track in the world! - All in Sacha's joyous, uplifting and celebratory and immediately recognisable style.
 
The painting also includes the hand-prints and signatures of the world's greatest F1 drivers.  They have placed their hands in paint and put them on the canvas and then signed underneath - including:  Eddie Irvine, Schumacher, Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Kovalainen, Jenson Button, Coulthard, Raikkonen, Kubica, Massa, Barrichello, Villeneuve, Wurz, etc etc..  This extraordinary painting even has the only ever Hand-Print and signature placed on canvas of Prince Albert of Monaco himself - the reigning Grimaldi. - this is placed over his favourite place on the race track, the entrance to the tunnel.
